We started Stories Into Schools in 2025, and once again it's a key part of Step Into Stories in 2026. In the week running up to Step Into Stories day on Saturday April 25th, all our local schools will be visited by our Step Into Stories authors, inspiring our local schoolchildren through talks and workshops to become the next generation of writers!

Ruth's 24 hour Readathon!

To highlight the crowdfunder - launched to support Stories Into Schools - our Step Into Stories lead Ruth has just completed a massive 24 hour Readathon, reading books from our visiting authors, and dropping into Social Media every hour to see who else has joined her, what they've been reading and if they're still awake. Did you join in?

Ruth has so far raised over £1,000 - an amazing amount, and thank you to everyone who has supported the crowdfunder so far.
