The Betti Moretti Poetry Prize
Betti Moretti was a force of nature, a creative soul who gave a great deal to the community of Bewdley and beyond. Not only was she an accomplished artist, she was also a lauded poet (Worcestershire’s Poet Laureate 2018/19). Betti loved her life in Bewdley, but sadly, in 2023, she passed away. This poetry prize has been created with family and friends, along with Bewdley Festival, as a tribute to the wonderful person she was.
