Lesley Smith is Anne Boleyn

Lesley Smith is Anne Boleyn

Join us as Anne Boleyn, the second wife of Henry VIII tells her own story -

one which even today still holds intrigue and romance.

Queen Anne was a loving wife of Henry VIII, and quite possibly his favourite - even though he turned against her when she failed to provide the son he craved. For centuries, she has been portrayed as a cunning and manipulative woman, responsible for causing the bloody aspects of the Reformation in England, whereas in truth she was a highly educated and profoundly religious person, one who cared deeply about her moral standing. As we enter the chamber of the Tower of London, and meet Queen Anne in her execution gown during her final moments, we'll hear her powerful and dark story of rejection, passion, love and terror.
