Now in our 38th year, Bewdley Festival dates back as far as 1988, when our very first Festival featured the likes of Roger McGough, Jonathan Dimbleby and Stephen Fry. Since then, our annual Autumn Festival has featured some 700 musicians, bands, orchestras, comedians, poets, actors, dancers, historians, naturalists and horticulturalists, together with a host ofpersonalities all with a fascinating story to tell.

In recent years we’ve also been looking at how we can bring even more of the arts to the people ofBewdley and beyond, not least by introducing new events such as our annual children’s literaturefestival Step Into Stories. And we’re always keen to support local arts initiatives through BCAF, ourBewdley Community Arts Fund.
