Bewdley Festival of the Arts
Our Festival of the Arts takes place every October, and in 2025 featured a whole host of amazing performances…
- Toby Lee, of whom Jools Holland said you will love him– and we did!
- More fabulous music came from The Urban Folk Quartet and Fine Young Cannibals front man Roland Gift
- Lots of great people came to chat - author Jonathan Coe, music producer Joe Boyd, presenter Adrian Goldberg and Coronation Street bad boy Mikey North
- Funny lady Ria Lina and the PodFather himself Richard Herring provided us with endless laughs, as did social media poet sensation Brian Bilston
- Local experts Matthew Terry and Rosemary Winnall took us on fascinating journeys through the life of bats and birds, flora and fauna
- The visual arts were in abundance, including our own Art Exhibition, a film showcasing the recent Van Gogh exhibition, and our Paint The Day competition
- Drama came in the form of an amazing one-man performance of Animal Farm, while our two favourite historians Lesley Smith as Anne Hathaway and Max Keen as Clive of India were brilliant as always
- And finally, our 2025 Festival of the Arts was closed out with a sublime performance by classical pianist Mark Bebbington
