Bewdley Festival has launched a major new initiative with the aim of significantly increasing the support of the arts in Bewdley and communities across Wyre Forest.
The Bewdley Community Arts Foundation (BCAF) is a grant making body that represents the next stage of Bewdley Festival’s vision for securing resources for the arts in our community for future generations.

The Bewdley Festival 2021 programme originally organised for October 2020, but rescheduled because of the Covid 19 pandemic, is the 33rd edition of our multi-arts festival.
From the first festival held in 1988 the aim has been to:
“Bring the Best into Bewdley and the Best out of Bewdley”
through programming a mix of music, talks, comedy, drama and art, with performances featuring well-known stars, interesting personalities and local talent.

In addition to the 10 days in October, Bewdley Festival presents events throughout the year, including literary events and community based projects such as the popular Duck House Trail.
Festival offshoot Bewdley Youth Festival has organised events and opportunities for the younger members of the community since 2013.
These include the annual Wyre Forest Young Musician of the Year competition and many events at the popular Hopfest Family Music Festival. Read more about BYF activities here…
