Bewdley Festival: Friday 11th October to Saturday 19th October 2024

The 35th Bewdley Festival in October 2023 was a great success with tremendous audiences enjoying terrific performances. Put the dates in your diary for 2024 – 11th to 19th October 2024.

On Saturday 16th March we present the annual Wyre Forest Young Musician of the Year Competition for young people aged  12 to 18.  Tickets for this special event are £5 (free for those aged 18 and under) – you can buy them here WFYMY Tickets

The Young Musician Competition is followed in April by:

“Step into Stories” – a fantastic new one day festival celebrating children’s stories on Saturday April 13th 2024

At this new one day event, Bewdley Festival invites you to step into the wonderful world of stories for children, and brings 13 leading authors, poets and storytellers to Bewdley to talk about their work and transfix with their tales and poetry.

The day will have 19 events suitable for children (and their parents) from Key Stage 2 to age 12+ Click here for the Step into Stories Web Site

We hope to see you at one or more of the events on the day and you can buy tickets online though the link below. A number of the events are free, but we ask you to book your place at these events as we are limited on numbers at many of the venues. Step Into Stories Tickets

This major initiative from Bewdley Festival has the aim of significantly increasing the support of the arts in Bewdley and communities across Wyre Forest.

The Bewdley Community Arts Foundation (BCAF) is a grant making body that represents the next stage of Bewdley Festival’s vision for securing resources for the arts in our community for future generations.
